RECENT ACTIVATIONS:

Oliver
Fire
The Team assumed command of the Oliver Fire in Mariposa on June 24
at 1300 and transitioned the incident back to MMU and SNF on July 6.

Telegraph Fire
In July Team 6 assisted Team 8 with the Telegraph fire in Mariposa
County.

Sesnon
Fire
On October 13, 2008, Team 6 was activated to stage at South Ops for
a predicted weather event. Later that day Team 6 was deployed to the
Sesnon Fire to assist LA County Fire Team 2, LA Fire, and Ventura
County Fire.

Freeway
Complex
On November 14 at 0000 Team 6 was activated and staged in Riverside.
At 1200 the team was assigned to the Freeway Complex.

Team ID Cards
ALL team members must have a photo ID. IF you have not yet received
one, please review the ID Roster
to find out why. If you are missing a photo, you must send one to
Rick Vogt ASAP so he
can make you ID card.
Team Hats Available to Order
You can now order your team
hat by contacting Distinctive Recognition, Inc. at (916) 381-5144.
As you can see from the photos, the hats are navy blue with the new
CAL FIRE logo and INCIDENT COMMAND TEAM 6 on the front. The Team 6
logo is embroidered on the left side of the hat. Your name (What
ever you like to use, IE Last name or First and Last name) along
with your position
mnemonic will be embroidered on the

To order a hat,

Distinctive Recognition, Inc.
and arrange for payment. You will
need to tell him what is to be written on the back of the hat and
what size you need. They have sizes Small/Medium and Large/Extra
Large.
